The Green Room:
Opening our Hearts
Following is the song - Nessuno - arranged and performed by the latest ensemble of Infinity Players: Oreobambo (arranger, conductor, vocals, whistling), Lulla Amelu (vocals, guitar), Haakon Saknussen (guitar, vocal chorus), Margaret Penn (lever harp, vocal chorus), Tyrone Merriner (glockenspiel, vocal chorus) and Brian LeBeaux (mandolin, vocal chorus). Recording was done by Laura Voight; Oreobambo and Margaret Penn final mixed and mastered this piece. And it was authored by E. Capotesti and A. De Simone and was first sung by Mina in 1959.
Like many songs which caught the 'eye' of Carlos Castaneda, Nessuno, when conventionally sung speaks of romantic longing, but when energetically arranged and performed indicates the affection we all sense and feel for our energetic counterpart, our energy body. From this place with our energy body, our perception changes - our 'successes and failures' measure the same, connection and dreaming with others unfold, and we sense at once being carried within the arms of infinity.
Please enjoy this wonderful piece of music. The lyrics are provided below:
Nessuno
Nobody, I swear nobody, not even destiny itself
can come between us, because our love,
this heaven-sent love , will live forever.
Nobody, I swear nobody, within the gift
of my whole life, can give me the infinite joy
that I feel with you, only with you.
It's you, oh sweetest love,
only you, my past and my future,
all my world begins with you
and ends with you.
Nobody, I swear nobody, not even destiny itself
can come between us, because our love transforms itself
into the light of eternity.
